Founded by Liz Tarlowe, a New York City native with more than 20 years of industry experience, Liz Tarlowe Events is a full-service event planning company specializing in Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.  As you prepare for the special day, we will be with you every step of the way, allowing you to focus on enjoying your time with family and friends without having to sweat the details.  

Liz meets personally with all of our clients and customizes each event based on the client’s personal tastes and budget.  Liz can help plan and execute every detail, from developing an overall theme, to guiding you in selecting a venue, identifying the right vendors (such as invitations, entertainment and games, photography/videography, décor/lighting, personalized logo, transportation, and swag/favors), negotiating contracts, and preparing a detailed timeline for the event.  No detail will be left to chance.  When the special day arrives, Liz will be there to ensure that the plan is executed to perfection.

Bio

As a lifelong resident of New York City with over 20 years of hospitality experience, Liz has the ideal background for planning the ultimate New York City event.  Liz grew up on the Upper West Side and attended the Horace Mann School.  She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and received a Master’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from New York University.  Liz spent more than a decade as a Catering Sales Manager at The University Club in midtown and at catering venues throughout the city owned and operated by the Glazier Group, before founding her own event planning business.  Liz has planned hundreds of events for individuals, corporations and non-profits, and now focuses primarily on planning Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.  Liz has two daughters and lives on the Upper East Side.
